Airdroid V2: Unable to login using username/password

Hi,
When I try to use Airdroid V2 I can successfully sign in on my phone (HTC One XL w/JB) however when I attempt to sign in via v2.airdroid.com if I specify a username/password or use Google integration it authenticates successfully and displays 'connecting to device...' but progresses no further. I cannot use the QR codes unfortunately as I am behind a corporate proxy and they have never worked

If I try from a home network without a proxy I can use the QR code and it works as expected
