File transfers stopped at 100?

Hi, I'm new to this so apologies in advance!
I made a wifi connection between my PC and phone as i wanted to transfer a folder containing around 1000 files. I went in this folder, selected everything to copy and all was well until it reached 100 then stopped? Is there a limit?
