Phone connect in XP but not in Win 7?

I am using airdroid to transfer files between computer and my phone and i
m using ip address method.When I enter http://192.168.1.101:8888 in my
web browser (firefox) window then it easily connects with phone and i
transfer files. Same method is not working in my laptop which has win 7
installed. I am doing everything same but no success.

Would you please tell us the model of your laptop and the browser you used with the laptop?
We are not sure if AirDroid supports your laptop. AirDroid now do not support every device, but we will try to make improvements in future updates.
