IPv6 addresses preferred over IPv4

Normally I'd consider this a good thing, but since you have to type over the IP address manually it would be much more convenient if IPv4 was preferred over IPv6. Just to be clear, I do have a working IPv6 setup at home and it does actually work - just typing over an IPv6 address is a bit of a pain

I would prefer IPv4 as well. Unlike Aphax, I'm having difficulty getting the IPv6 address to work.

I think it's odd that my Xoom tablet (v3.2) shows an IPv6 address and my Bionic (v2.3.4) show an IPv4 address.

IP6 address does not work in my network environment. So pls implement a feature that I can force IP4 in the settings.
