Is there a limit to the number of contacts I can bulk SMS to?

We haven't done tests on this. But theoretically, there is no limit of the number of recipients. However, if you send to hundreds/thousands of recipients, you may need to wait for some time.

You may arrange the contacts into different groups (which can be done in Contact). When sending a new message, click Messages on web.airdroid.com > New Message, select the group you need, all contacts in the group you selected will be filled in the recipient box:

I installed airdroid but i can't create groups. this option is only for premium account?
