Drag and drop of files to File Transfer window in Desktop client

On the Windows desktop client, I click on the file transfer button, select my device and then try to drag a file onto the window. All I get is a stop sign - there seems to be no way to send files via drag and drop. I can click on the file icon and send things, but that's it.
