Text Duplicationquestion

When I send a message from my laptop, all messages show up twice on my phone and airdroid app on the laptop.. Not sure why but this just started happening.. I have uninstalled and reinstalled on both my phone (Samsung S6) and laptop (Acer).. The problem still persists.. It is very aggravating.. I have asked recipients, they are not receiving the messages twice, however, it still duplicates on my phone and laptop.. Are there any known bugs or fixes to this issue? Thanks in advance..

BTW I am using stock messaging app

Just noticed my phone and computer have been doing the exact same thing. I'm using Galaxy S6 and Mac. Hope we get an answer soon, as it is quite annoying. Thanks.
