AirDroid 1.0.4 was a bit slow, but not this bad.
Relevant info:
Carrier: Verizon
Rooted: Yes
Android version: 2.3.7
Kernel version: slayher@homebrewed #7
RAM free: 279MB (so it's not a memory issue)
Overclock: 1.5GHz (stock 1GHz)
Browser: Chrome 18.0.1025.168 (stable release channel)
OS: Microsoft Windows 7
What happens is this. When I receive a text, it can take up to 30 seconds for AD to register that the text should be shown. When I send a text, I'd say 2/3 of the time the phone reports that AD is "not responding." If I hit "Wait" the text sends immediately and shows in the Airdroid window. The overclock has no affect on these occurrences.
In addition, performance seems to improve when AD is told to keep the screen on (since my phone's CPU ramps down if the screen is off). Just now, I had the whole app/connection reset after the screen turned off.
I have reinstalled the app/cleared data. All of this still happens.
Please let me know if I need to provide any further information.
