Unable to log into my Airdroid

Hello,seems, that I'm alone with that problem. At least I could not spot it mentioned here, yet: I'm using a ZTE Blade with ICS (coldusionX). From my Mac I try to connect to a running AirDroid instance using http://web.airdroid.com. I get the login page and also the scanning of the QR-code leads to some bubbles showing that there is some login going on - but that's it. Even after half an hour nothing really changes.
I'm using chrome, also tired Firerfox - but same issue. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry, but seems to be an issue with that particular rom. I could not reproduce the behaviour after switching to a newer rom release.best regards!
