Unable to remotely access USB drives connected to Google TV(Logitech Revue)

I have a Google TV with an external USB drive connected to it's USB port
- I am able to access the USB drive via Google apps locally

Now , I have set up AirDroid on the Google TV
- I can access the Google TV from remote locations using port forwarding without any issues
- I can access the SD card location

However , I cannot access the USB drive from remote locations. Any help is appreciated !!
