Failed to connect, Email or password is incorrect

Connecting on my HTC Sensation XE (4G) with Cyanogenmod 10
I've tried different email addresses triple checked my password changed passwords etc. still getting the same error when trying to remotely connect.

The same problem here. Airdroid used to work well ,, now I can't even get on. whats going on. anyone else had and overcome this problem. Frustrating.!!

Same issueUpdated to airdroid V2.0.4 on a Samsung S3 running android 4.2.1.

I reset the password on the web site and can log in and out happily with the website but the device insists the password or email is incorrect.

The account is linked to my google / oauth2 account which, again, works fine on the web site, but the device throws back "you need an android account to use a 3rd party account"

Attempted to clear the data cache in settings, but no good.
Uninstalled, cleaned app cache/directory & re-installed, no good.

In the end I connected via the web interface of the phone app.
