I installed AirDroid on my smartphone. It has wireless access on my wirelesss network (for example, I can surf the web via Chrome). But when I plug in the IP address (and :8888) AirDroid gives me (the IP address of the phone) into my PC's browser window, I get a connection problem error message. I also cannot ping my phone from the PC. I've found many people have this issue on this forum, but not a single damned response from these pathetic AirDroid developers. Nowhere can I find diddly squat any technical details on PC-to-droid smartphone communications. For some reason this seems to work for a lot of people according to the reviews. Very disappointed in this app and the level of technical support.
