Browser window closes just before connection

I was trying to log in my browser and each time that I attempted to do so, my browser tab would automatically close just as it seemed to be fully connected. I tried to log in by both QRC and google sign in. I also tried it on both chrome and firefox with the same result on each. If anyone has any insight please let me know.

I have the exact same problem.
Newest Chrome on OSX Mtn. Lion, newest Chrome on HTC One Android 4.1.1.
