Unable to get Root Permission on Droid Phones

Hi:

I started using AirDroid in 2011 on the Droid Bionic and was never able to get root permissions on my Droid. I now have a Droid Maxx phone and am still unable to get root permissions on my phone. I've tried downloading Superuser Root Permission on my phone and still does not grant me root permissions.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this.
