Huawei Mate S can't select SD to upload to external SDquestion

Hey .

I am using airdroid for my Huawei Mate S and it is working perfectly except when trying to upload to my external SD. I do get the right prompt but I don't get a menu button. I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I get instead, the green one I get after pressing "forget it" when connecting failed.
Anything I'm doing wrong or I'm overlooking?

Now I only have an extra file visible in the green screenshot . But it still won't grant permission to upload to SD.

No error message. I'll try to record the video not sure if I can...
