Its been a while but i have come back to this, its a new router and i have tried putting the IP address into the DMZ in the router firmware but it did not help.

Airdroid is on the latest update as is Firefox

try resetting the router it might help

Firefox - if i go to Airdroid web, scan QR code then login then it will work but it says connected to 192.168.1.2...
But i get errors such as
To sign in via QR code, it's required to sign in to an account on the device, unless the device and computer are on the same Wi-Fi network


https://192.168.1.3:8890/ in Firefox says this "It is only Chrome browser that supports AirDroid service when connecting to HTTPS"

In Chrome it says Your connection is not privateAttackers might be trying to steal your information from 192.168.1.3 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

This server could not prove that it is 192.168.1.3; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.


What is going on here?
