CyanogenMod 12.1 Permissionsquestion

I can not find the correct/applicable CyanogenMod 12.1 permission setting to allow me to send/recieve SMS messages.  I have an unlocked and rooted HTC One M8.  My device is linked with AirDroid but not showing up as a trusted device.  

I am running the latest version of the Airdroid desktop app.

You mean you can't see SMS history in AirDroid Win/Mac? 

As to "not showing up as a trusted device", can you attach a screenshot?
