web interface marks messages as read when they are not read on phone

I have deployed a new android phone for one of my work colleagues with the latest airdroid 3.2.6. She has reported an issue to me where the web interface shows messages as read when they would have just come on the phone as new messages and are un read. Is there a setting that I am missing that I need to tweak somewhere?

Hi Ecabs,first of all, just to be sure.. are you saying that the message is marked as read in AirDroid web while it's still shown as new message on phone?

Second, could you please tell us the following info?

1. Phone model ,
2. Android OS version;
