Downloadable AirDroid client

Could you please make a downloadable desktop client for AirDroid, so I can keep it running on my pc 24.7?

I would also like the same feature, as i work at a place where my laptop isn't always connected to the internet and i would still like to be able to access my phone and tablet using this app

Does the desktop client for AirDroid work on Firefox or am I stuck with Chrome which will piss me right off.
