Change permissions on System files?

Would it be possible to add an option to the interface when browsing System Files on the phone to be able to make Unix/Linux permissions changes on those files?

I'm sure you know what I speak of, but I've attached an example of a similar interface from FileZilla's FTP client for reference.



This could come in handy for folks changing their boot animation (among other things).

oh yes this would be very nice.so that you can change system files, for ex. moving unnessecary system apps to the SD card. i think that this cant be very difficult because screenshots make already root access nessecary....
