It would be really cool if we could make a phone call from a tablet which would be connected to the phone. IOS8 style!

Thanks for your suggestion.
Sign in to web.airdroid.com on your tablet and Initiate a phone call is supported now. But you still need to pick your phone to process the phone call.
We'll keep an eye on this and will try to add this feature in future updates when it is technical feasible.
