Limit the number of messages to load when opening a conversation in Messages

I have a contact with whom our conversation is thousands of texts long. As you can imagine, loading the conversation in Messages is a pain and takes a very very long time. Most apps such as Handcent or GO SMS Pro get around this by only loading a certain number of most recent messages, and when you scroll to the top there is a button to load older messages. In my opinion, it is necessary for AirDroid to do the same thing in Messages.
