Possible to clear notification?

Is it possible to clear message notification from phone once read on airdroid ?

if apps can be installed and deleted, then notifications should have an option to be cleared, or disabled altogether.

View every type of notification
Clear them off the phone from the desktop
Cue sound for incoming notifications
Html5 Desktop notifications.
