regional date & time settings; keep original modified date&time on download

It's very, very annoying to see US-style mm/dd/yy dates when you're in the UK & its diaspora. If Month has to come first, at least render it in alpha instead of numeric

And when transferring / downloading files, it is really useful if the "created" and "last modified" dates are kept, especially for photographs, but really for all files.

Similarly, we are on a 12-hour clock in the US, not 24-hour time. So, I second the request for regional date & time settings.

I too find it very annoying and confusing having file dates shown in an illogical sequence (I'm in Australia, where we use the 'common' date format used in almost every *civilised* country

So I too would like to see my regional settings followed.

It is somewhat condescending and highly annoying that the program ignores the Regional Settings on my PC and conforms to the (minority) US date/time formatting.


Please could you place this as a high-priority fix.
