Ability to open and run apps

It would be really nice to be able to open and run apps on the phone from the airdroid desktop screen.

Check out getting a VNC Server on your phone. You can control the phone with it. It might require root access though.

Hej I really want something similar to what you want. I have made my first message http://forum.airdroid.com/discussion/10844/show-how-a-special-app-is-working-on-my-pc#Item_1 but can't see it here in this thread http://forum.airdroid.com/discussions and it says not possible to comment.
Could some one please tell my what I did wrong and if you know if what we want could be possible in a future update, please?
